Hola, he intentado instalar el VMware 9 me lo he descargado de su pagina para windows 32 bits y 64 bits, tengo windows 7 32 bits y me sale este mensaje de error:

Error: VMware Workstation can not be installed on this computer.
VMware Workstation requires features that are not present on your CPU. See the product release notes for specific hardware and sofware requirements.

viene a decir esto:

Error: VMware Workstation no puede ser instalado en este equipo.
VMware Workstation requiere de características que no están presentes en su CPU. Ver las notas de la versión del producto para hardware específico y Requisitos Técnicos.

Si me he bajado la version de windows porque me sale este error? una ayuda por favor, gracias

Pues por que tu CPU Microprocesador no solo soporta y no lo podras hacer funcionar.
(O puedes verificar si el soporte VT-x está habilitado en la BIOS, lo mismo esta deshabilitado)
Debes de mirar si tu Microprocesador soporta 32 y 64 bits hay CPUs que no y CPUs que si y en algunos casos si los soportan de 64 bits pero vienen de la tienda con las caracteristicas deshabilitadas en la BIOS.
Es lo mismo que los Sistemas operativos de 64 Bits, hay CPUs microprocesadores que no lo soportan.

El VMware 9 puede ser instalado en SO de 32 pero con CPUs que soporten funciones de 64 bits pues el VMware 9 utiliza tambien funciones de 64 bits.

An Intel CPU that has VT-x support

If you have an Intel CPU that has VT-x support, you must verify that VT-x support is enabled in the host system BIOS. The BIOS settings that must be enabled for VT-x support vary depending on the system vendor. When you install a 64-bit operating system, Workstation performs checks to make sure the host system has a supported processor. You cannot install a 64-bit operating system if the host system does not meet the processor requirements.
Processor Requirements for Windows 7 Aero Graphics

To support Windows 7 Aero graphics, the host system should have either an Intel Dual Core 2.2GHz or later CPU or an AMD Athlon 4200+ or later CPU.

Lo quiero utilizar para crear una maquina virtual, no hay alguna version anterior que me pueda servir? si pudieras darme el enlace estaria muy agradecido, gracias un saludo

Mira es que para usar una maquina virtual la que sea debes de tener el soporte VT-x habilitado en la BIOS.

Dicho soporte es el de la virtualizacion, y si tu CPU lo tiene deshabilitado ningun programa te servira.

Deberias de verificar si tu BIOS lo tienes deshabilitado (o por antigua la CPU no lo soporta aunque esto ultimo seria extraño seria entonces una CPU muy antigua)

Mira en este post explicamos a otra usuaria lo mismo echale un vistazo, hay un pequeño programita el SecurAble que te dice si lo tienes activado o deshabilitado o no lo soporta.
